Champion Financial, LLC is not a law firm. The Company’s principals are attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, but the services offered through this website and by the Company are not legal services, and engaging the Company to pursue an unclaimed-funds recovery does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and the Company or any of its principals.
Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice. Any communication between you and the Company or its representatives is not protected by the attorney-client privilege and should not be relied on as legal counsel. If your situation requires legal representation, we will tell you so. Where appropriate and at your request, we may refer you to or retain on your behalf an attorney admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
3. No guarantee of recovery
Past results do not guarantee future outcomes. We make no warranty or representation that any particular claim will succeed, that any particular custodian will release funds, or that funds will be released on any particular timeline. Some claims, despite careful preparation, are denied; others are reduced by claims from competing claimants, statutory caps, set-offs, taxes, or third-party costs.
4. Our compensation
Our compensation is structured as an assignment of a portion of the recoverable proceeds. Under the assignment agreement, you transfer to the Company a defined percentage of the gross amount of any recovery. We do not charge an hourly rate or a separate fee. If no recovery results, there are no proceeds to share, and you owe the Company nothing. We will never request any funds from you that do not come from what the Company has recovered.
Our compensation is subject to applicable statutory caps in each jurisdiction. The Company complies with all applicable caps, and where an applicable cap is lower than the percentage the assignment otherwise specifies, the lower number governs.
5. Limitations of service area
The Company’s research and recovery activities may include matters in jurisdictions outside Ohio. The Company undertakes those engagements only after determining that doing so is consistent with applicable law in the relevant jurisdiction, including any registration, licensing, or finder-statute requirements. Where a recovery requires court appearance or legal services that the Company’s principals are not authorized to provide in a particular jurisdiction, the Company engages or refers to local counsel admitted in that jurisdiction.
6. No solicitation in jurisdictions where prohibited
This website is not intended as a solicitation in any jurisdiction in which the Company is not authorized to provide the described services, or in which such solicitation would be unlawful. We reserve the right to decline any engagement.
7. Information you provide
Information you provide to us is treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your information with marketers or lead aggregators.
