Why are you contacting me?
Because our research has identified a sum of money being held that we have reason to believe is owed to you or to an estate or relative connected to you. We don’t make cold calls speculatively. If we’ve reached out, we have a documented match.
Is this a scam?
It’s a fair question, and one anyone in your position should ask of anyone reaching out about money. A legitimate recovery service will tell you exactly who they are (names and credentials of the people behind the company), never ask you to pay anything up front, provide a written agreement you can read at your own pace, and encourage you to verify their identity and credentials independently. We do all of those things. The principals here are attorneys licensed in Ohio, and their licenses are publicly verifiable through the Supreme Court of Ohio attorney directory, and we’ll provide their names and bar numbers on request. If a recovery service won’t satisfy that kind of due diligence, walk away.
What does it cost me?
Nothing up front, and nothing at all if we don’t recover the funds. Our compensation comes entirely from a portion of the proceeds, which you assign to us in writing before we do any work. If a recovery requires out-of-pocket third-party costs along the way, those are itemized in the final accounting and deducted from the gross recovery, not billed to you separately.
Are you my lawyer?
No. We are lawyers, just not your lawyers. The principals of Champion Financial, LLC are attorneys licensed in Ohio, but we are not acting as your attorneys, and no attorney-client relationship is created. If your matter genuinely requires legal representation, we’ll tell you, and where appropriate we’ll refer you to or retain on your behalf an attorney admitted in the relevant jurisdiction.
Why can’t I just claim these funds myself?
You could, in principle, but you don’t know where they are. We don’t disclose the custodian, the case or instrument, or the procedural path until you’ve signed the assignment agreement. Those specifics are the work product our service is built around, and giving them away for free would make the research that found them in the first place unsustainable. What we will tell you in advance is the approximate amount, the timeline, and the portion of the proceeds we’ll ask you to assign. If the trade isn’t worth it to you, you simply decline.
What if I want to think about it, or talk to someone first?
Please do. We expect you’ll want to verify our identity, talk things over with family or your own attorney, and read the assignment agreement carefully before signing. If you decide not to sign, you owe us nothing. If you later change your mind, our offer is generally still open, though some claims have deadlines, so don’t wait indefinitely.
